Register of Private Institutions

The Register of Institutions is a list of approved tertiary institutions prepared and published by the Council in the Gazette and publicly available for inspection at TEC. It contains the names of institutions that have satisfied the registration requirements of the Council and Regulations.

Each institution that appears on the Register whose particulars are complete should be in possession of a Registration Certificate that bears the seal of the Council. This gives authority to institutions to continue operating until it expires after five years or it is suspended or revoked.

Any institution that does not appear in the Register, shall from the date of its publication cease to operate and perform functions of a tertiary institution.

The Register is available for public view at the TEC Secretariat Offices and lists only institutions registered to operate in Botswana. Alternatively click on the institution name below to view or download the courses registered.
